Phoenix Announces General Availability of Commander TPM Version 1.20

Published on January 30, 2009.

Phoenix today announced the general availability of the Commander Terminal Personality Module (TPM) Version 1.20. This is a major new release of Phoenix's product solution for remote and centralized management of the ATM network. This latest release delivers significant enhancements based on customer feedback in the production environment. Commander TPM addresses the challenges inherent with the migration from a static legacy ATM environment to the more complex and dynamic Windows environment. Change is constant and the demand for accurate, ATM-level information and business intelligence is critical, not only to improve availability and achieve optimum performance, but to ensure competitive services and the best customer experience.

Commander delivers business intelligence, management information and tools to your desktop:

  • Know your inventory and assets without costly site visits or outdated spreadsheets
  • Audit hardware, software and configuration changes
  • Audit servicing and replenishment performance
  • Diagnose problems quickly with advanced troubleshooting tools
  • Change configuration
  • Schedule marketing start and stop dates
  • Measure and compare device performance

Commander presents significant opportunities to improve efficiency, service and performance and realize significant cost savings.

For example, financial institutions often pilot new functionality on multiple hardware vendor platforms but rely on comparison metrics that are filtered through the switch or obtained through proprietary tools unique to the hardware vendor. Commander "levels the playing field" by providing detailed device performance comparisons, historical trends and statistics; valuable information that can influence change for a better customer experience.

The 360 degree view of a single ATM and the entire network puts control in the hands of the stakeholders.

A user-friendly desktop interface provides on-demand information without relying on outdated and time-consuming processes and effort on the part of constrained IT resources, leaving them free to concentrate on more strategic operations and initiatives.
