Business of the Year Award Finalist
Each year, the London Chamber of Commerce recognizes a single company from the City of London and awards that company with the prestigious "Business of the Year Award". This year, Phoenix Interactive is proud to have been selected as one of the four finalists for the Business of the Year Award - Large Company category.
Headquartered in downtown London, Phoenix has operated within the city since 1987. The company has experienced tremendous success within the banking industry. Kyle MacDonald, CEO of Phoenix Interactive, commented, "As a young start-up company, Phoenix was located in a small office building in the downtown core. Over the past 17 years, we've outgrown 3 office buildings and have just moved to our fourth and largest Head Office location in downtown London. Our growth rate has been astounding."
As a member of London's business community, Phoenix proudly promotes its Canadian and London-based heritage. "We have hosted dozens of guests in London from Banks in Canada, the UK, Ireland, the US, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. We feel it's important to promote one of Canada's finest gems and contribute to the city's economic growth and development.", said Ms. MacDonald.
Phoenix and its employees also believe strongly in supporting their community and local charities. Phoenix is a proud contributor to many local charities. The company is also a proud supporter of London's Annual Corporate Challenge where this past year's charity fund raising event was a tremendous success.
The London Chamber of Commerce will announce the winner of the 2005 Business of the Year Award at a dinner celebration on March 2nd.
