Phoenix CEO discusses IFX reality as guest speaker at Gasper Conference

This year's 2005 Gasper Worldwide User Conference was another triumph for the Gasper team.
Held in New Orleans, the conference brought hundreds of Gasper users and Industry partners such as Phoenix Interactive Design, ACI, Diebold, eFunds, Hewlett-Packard, NCR, and Wincor-Nixdorf together to discuss the direction of the ATM industry.

At this year's event, the Gasper User Board invited Phoenix to discuss the successful projects undertaken by Phoenix for their global customer base. In addition to the VISTAatm multi-vendor software solution offered by Phoenix, the conference attendees were particularly interested in learning more about Phoenix's leadership in the industry with IFX and work currently being undertaken by Phoenix to expand and enhance ATM monitoring solutions and linkages to Gasper.

Kyle MacDonald, CEO of Phoenix Interactive, addressed the conference attendees and provided a detailed overview of the extensive effort being put forth by Phoenix and ACI to further extend the IFX messaging format. "Our combined efforts are helping to build a non-proprietary, feature-rich IFX messaging protocol for all ATM deployers to fully take advantage of. Additionally, this ability to utilize IFX in self-service delivery and move away from the legacy and limiting 'traditional' ATM protocols such as NDC and 91X allows Banks to invest in current technology and save money versus investment in old, proprietary solution development. This is yet another key benefit inherent with IFX", said Ms. MacDonald.
