Phoenix Demonstrates Multi-Vendor Leadership at ACEPhoenix Interactive once again took part in the ACI Customer Exchange (ACE) held this year in Charleston, South Carolina. The event, taking place from September 18th to 21st, is a meeting of ACI Worldwide's customer base to learn about all facets of the e-payments industry. ACE was a great opportunity for Phoenix to connect with its customers and to educate the industry on the viability of multi-vendor ATM terminal software. "It is exciting to see Phoenix presence at ACE continue to grow," commented Phoenix Director of Business Development Scott Anderson, "Each year Phoenix and ACI share more customers and we believe ACE is a fantastic forum to support their development." As a proven ATM software vendor with "live", in production, multi-vendor installs in North America, Phoenix was chosen to present a case study of the challenges of Windows OS multi-vendor installations with the co-operation of one of its important customers. The presentation outlined the process of refreshing a large ATM network, the challenges of a Windows environment, the successes of the project, and important lessons learned. Phoenix's Chief Technology Officer, John Spenler who presented at the conference opined, "This presentation demonstrated that multi-vendor solutions are a viable and proven option for today's ATM networks. ACE provided its membership and vendor sponsors an opportunity to discuss important issues facing the e-payments industry. There was ample time for the participants to meet in informal settings such as an evening at the picturesque Boone Hall, a southern plantation that has been the location for numerous Hollywood films.
