Phoenix Again Advises on Status of IFX


Phoenix's Manager of Product Development, Mark Elson, was featured in a July 13, 2005 ATMmarketplace.com on the benefits of open standards and the progress of IFX. IFX is the new, open, industry standard messaging format based in XML that will allow various financial delivery channels speak the same language.

In the article, Elson, Martin Macmillan of Level Four Software, and Rick DuVall from ACI Worldwide Inc. advise that will be going live in multiple locations within the next 12 months. The expectation that banks with larger networks will make the move to IFX first, then the banks with smaller networks will follow.
