ABN AMRO's LaSalle Bank completes replacement of legacy ATM software with Phoenix's VISTAatm product and improves the Bank's customer experience.



The Enhanced Customer Interface and ADA-Compliant Audio Assist Technology on ATMs Makes the Difference

Phoenix Interactive Design, Inc. is pleased to announce the successful completion of the VISTAatm software replacement project for LaSalle Bank's network of ATMs with rollout completed on over 1,100 NCR, Diebold and Wincor ATMs with a single runtime application across all ATMs.

VISTAatm is a world-class self-service product that focuses on achieving hardware independence, maximizing investments in 'legacy' environments and enabling LaSalle Bank to connect into new sources of data and information to enhance interactions with customers at the ATM. This new interface provides the Banks' ATM customers with the ability to "set preferences" for cash & receipt options and interact with the ATM in their choice of language - English or Spanish. Additionally, the Bank has implemented "American Disabilities Act" - Compliant Audio Assistance at the ATM in both English and Spanish with the VISTAatm Text-to-Speech product - all in a Microsoft Windows XP Professional environment and certified on the latest industry XFS standards for multiple vendor ATM platforms including Diebold 'ix', Diebold Opteva, NCR, and Wincor-Nixdorf.

LaSalle Bank (a subsidiary of Netherlands-based ABN AMRO Bank N.V.) was one of the first Banks globally to implement the Microsoft Windows XP Professional operating system on self-service/ATM devices. Subsequently, the Bank has successfully implemented the solution on over 1,100 ATMs spanning multiple hardware types with a single runtime application solution that offers English and Spanish language support for both on-screen and for audio-assisted transactions. Implementation of the VISTAatm solution across all of LaSalle Bank's 1,100+ ATMs was completed in September 2007.
