Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank of the United Kingdom (parts of the National Australia Bank Group) have recently introduced Mobile Phone Top Up (MPTU) service at their ATMs. Amazingly, the project was completed from initiation to rollout across a fleet of almost 1000 ATMs in just nine weeks.
Sue Bentley, head of ATM channel management for both banks, states: "We had a tight timeline to allow us to implement the service before a freeze period, Phoenix and VISTAatm enabled us to meet our deadline and did so without any subsequent implementation issues."
