In 2006, Fifth Third Bank selected Phoenix's VISTAatm software solution for their network of 2,100 Diebold and NCR ATMs. VISTAatm supports new transactions such as check imaging, one-to-one targeted marketing and advanced features targeted to increase customer retention and loyalty. Fifth Third Bank is committed to providing highly personalized self-service banking with cross-channel integration to offer a consistent user experience at all customer touch points. FifthThird also is committed to offering ATM voice guidance to support accessibility standards. Phoenix's VISTAatm Audio Assist product is fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and will enable all customers to do their banking at the ATM without assistance.

Why Fifth Third Bank Chose Phoenix

Fifth Third Bank's ATM upgrade strategy from OS/2 to a Windows based Operating System started with the selection of a preferred software platform. In 2006, as part of the Bank's upgrade program, Fifth Third underwent a thorough and exhaustive review of four Windows based ATM software solutions for their 2,100 Jeanie ATMs before selecting Phoenix's VISTAatm software platform.

A critical requirement in the Bank's selection process was the need to migrate to a single ATM software application that would support the Bank's multi-vendor network (Diebold 'ix', Opteva and NCR ATMs), while seamlessly fitting in to Fifth Third's ATM infrastructure including certification with Fifth Third Processing Solutions and web services integration. Another vital component in the Bank's ATM software selection decision was the need to select a partner that had the global expertise to support the advanced functionality Fifth Third required for their ATMs.
