Northern Bank awarded Phoenix their ATM Software Replacement Contract in late 2000 following a rigorous evaluation process and a subsequent proof of concept exercise.

VISTAatm has been installed on all ATMs operated by the Irish arm of Denmark based Danske Bank Group (including Northern Bank and National Irish Bank). Across Northern Ireland, Phoenix and Northern Bank integrated VISTAatm into the Bank's NCR network with an EMV - compliant chip card solution. Despite aggressive timelines for compliance issues, and complexities to manage due to multiple models and functionality running with the same VISTAatm runtime application, the Bank has successfully implemented the solution on their entire ATM network - currently made up of 100% NCR hardware.
